Object Description
Meiji period color woodblock print from the series "Genji Goju-yo Jo" (The Contemporary Fifty-four Feelings). In the image people are dancing happily to the music by a flute and a drum in a Bon Festival. The word, Genji, is punned with the Tale of Genji. The Genji-mon are scattered on the right cartouche and the drummer looks like Prince Genji.
