Fine impression with gauffrage, mica and a lacquer pattern on the purple kimono.

Text is printed on a screen in the upper area of the image. A text banner is printed on the right edge. A red text banner and a signature are in the center of the left side. A seal is in the lower right border. Two seals are in the lower left border.

Colored ink woodblock on off-white paper (oban tate-e).

Object Description
Edo period color woodblock print of a warrior, who stands holding his blood-stained sword in his right hand. The severed head of his enemy lays on the ground in front of him. The full moon can be seen in the background.
