Commentary
Triptych; 3 panels cojoined. Defeat of the Takechi clan: The military leader Takechi Mitsuhide is shown atop his dying horse, while his son Mitsuyoshi attempts to stand at left. This battle still rages on the opposite shore with shadow figures charging by the castle at Yamashiro.
