Object Description
Color woodblock print with an image of a large number of soldiers following a path in formation. Act XI, Scene 6 shows the 47 Ronin entering the gates of Sengakuji, the temple where their lord is buried. They will be received by an abbot, and then each will proceed to burn incense in turn as the priests of the monastery read prayers.
