Object Description
Medium-large Chinese earthenware plate with gray glaze and decoration on the outer edge of the interior in green glaze. Four areas are painted with a design (perhaps leaves) in green glaze on the outer edge of the bottom of the plate.

This is an example of exportware from the treaty port of Shantou (Swatow) in Guangdong, China.
