Clay: white porcelain with brown specks. Glaze: body high- fired, covered with five colors of low-fired enamels.
Object Description
Outer surface divided into zones with red band at bottom and near top with petal designs, enclosing wide band with alternating figures of Thepphanom (Garuda, a mythical royal bird) and Norasingha (a minor Buddhist deity-part man, part lion and part deer), over a background of curving flames on a black ground.
