Object Description
Square offering dish for a Buddhist ancestral altar, with raised sides, atop a pedestal with cut-outs in each of the four sides. The object is glazed in celadon, with an embossed pattern of birds and flowers on the top of the platter portion. The square shape differentiates the object for ritual rather than everyday use.
