Commentary
No signature or inscription. Five seals in lower right corner. A nice painting of the theme, which has already been conserved.

Marks
There is a red oval seal stamped in the top center. There are red seals in the lower right - three square, one round, and one rectangular, which read Kuan Ching Chai Chen Wan (seal of the Kuan Ching Studio), a collector's seal, an illegible seal, P'ing Chow Chen Shang (inspector), and Ching Yuan T'ang Yin. A faded square red ink seal in stamped in the lower left (illegible).
Signature (Pei Wen Ni) near the right edge, just below the center.
On the outside of the scroll, in pencil: Sung. P'ei Wen Ni. Tending the Cattle.

Object Description
Vertical hanging scroll of a boy crossing a river, riding one of the cattle. Another boy is on the back of one on the shore, with a cow standing nearby.
