Used in Bruce Coats class for comparison studies. Old number "L1136/5" is written in pencil on the backing paper. The Munthe catalog (p.5) lists this work as "Two Physicians of the Han Dynasty," and attributes it to Chou Hing-t'ung, a Song Dynasty painter.

There is a large square red ink seal stamped in the center of the upper edge of the image. A round seal is to the left of this, and an oval seal is stamped upon the right border of the top edge, with much of it falling upon the brocade border. Two small square red ink stamps are below this. There are two small and one medium sized red ink seal stamped in the lower left corner of the image.

Black ink and pink and blue paint brushed onto silk, with a colored silk brocade border.
