Commentary
"Ukiyo Junikagetsu" (Twelve Months of the Floating World) December. Two lovers in Heian Court are enjoying the evening boat excursion.

This is possibly Ukifune and Niou from the chapter, Ukifune, of the Tale of Genji.

This work bears the artist's signature, "Gekko," and it is dated 1890.
