Molded terracotta figure on a brass stand. Covered with light orange/peach slip, with a design in brick red.
Object Description
Flattened female figure that has been pressed into a mold. It is hollow and has no arms or legs. There are earrings and a necklace in clay on the figure. It is painted light orange/peach with a design in brick red. There are also details in black as well as a strange piece of clay next to the left side of the head. The facial features are very expressive. This piece probably sat in a tomb and may originally have had tripod support.
