Old number: "L1780/10" written in pencil on the backing paper.

Marks
There are two characters written in ink in the lower right of the image. There is a strip of brocade bearing five characters attached to the backing paper, in the upper right.

Medium
Black and colored inks brushed onto silk, with a light grey silk brocade border.

Object Description
Mounted vertical scroll with a dominant landscape of towering mountains in the background, and two pine trees in the foreground. The pines are near a wisteria, and other trees in blossom. Swirling clouds are in the middle of the image, dividing the mountains from the foreground. A bridge is seen in the lower left, with a figure pushing a wheelbarrow across it. Two scholars are conversing in the right area of the image. Buildings can be seen in the distance, within the mountain valleys.
