Commentary
Zhou Zonglian appears to have been an official and minor painter during the Yongzheng and Qianlong eras of the Qing dynasty. A genuine painting and a fine late example of this tradition of plum blossom painting. Professor Kathleen Ryor, Carleton College
Card lists object as Chou Tsung-lien Plum Tree, by Ching Kang Hsi. 17th or 18th century.
