Commentary
Old number "L1780/25" is written in pencil on the backing paper.

Marks
There is a block of calligraphy in the upper right with a round red ink seal and a pear shaped seal. A large square red ink seal is stamped in the center of the upper edge. Two lines of calligraphy are written in the upper left, and end with a red ink seal. There are three red seals in the lower right corner of the painting and two in the lower left corner.

Medium
Black ink washes and brushed, and bits of blue, white, and red paint brushed onto silk, with a grey silk brocade border.

Object Description
Mounted vertical scroll of vast cliffs in a cascading diagonal arrangement. Trees and figures on paths dot the cliffs, and figures on a bridge are depicted in the center of the lower portion of the image. A village of houses is pictured in the upper right.
