Commentary
Listed in the Munthe inventory (p.120) as a "Very fine landscape in Sung style by Mei Ts'ing. Dated 1658. Legend appears authentic." There are 2 seals and the inscription of Mei Ching (Ts'ing).

Marks
Very faint red ink seal in lower right corner of image. Calligraphy in black ink in the upper left of the image.

Medium
Colored and black ink brushed onto silk, with a cerillian blue silk brocade border.

Object Description
Mounted vertical scroll of a landscape with towering misty mountains. In the lower right area of the image a bridge and pavillion accompany a larger building, where two scholars can be seen inside, talking.
