Object Description
Mold formed terracotta Mayan rattle with carved detail. The decoration consists of two figures - one is on the back of the other. The back figure has a beastly face. The rattle has added balls of clay, and holes where the clay has been dug out. There is no paint or slip. This is from Jaina island, off Compacho; a morturary island.
