Commentary
Old number: 913. This piece was accompanied by a card that read "Maya/ Monte Allan."

Marks
There is a sticker that reads "913" on the bottom, and a sticker that reads "H913" on the side.

Medium
Coil-formed earthenware vase with a tan slip and design painted in black, red and orange. Heavily burnished.

Object Description
Heavily burnished earthenware vase with a tan slip and exterior design of arrows and suns in red, black, and orange. The vase is medium in size and on a foot, The upper lip is unburnished and there is a band of red around it. Symbols on this piece resemble an eclipse, half-lidded eyes, and smoke from incense. It was probably made for a tomb.
