Medium
Earthenware with a slip (or possibly just highly burnished). There are painted designs on the interior as well as exterior. It is hand-formed.

Object Description
Mayan medium bowl with glyphs. It has an angular body with a flat bottom. The interior body is painted with birds and circular dots and bands. The exterior is painted with geometrical and figural designs. Overall the color is burgundy or brick red and brown on an orange base. There are more birds on the bottom exterior. The bowl has three indented areas on the side of the body near the base.
