Thrown porcelain plate with green paint and/or glaze sprayed over an ivory background, to create a speckled appearance. The design is painted using paints and/or glazes. The back of the plate is also sprayed with a black paint or glaze, to create a speckled effect. A clear crackle overglaze covers the top and bottom of the plate.
Object Description
Round porcelain plate with a green speckled background over ivory, resulting in a general light green tone. The center depicts a single abstracted native Latin American-style figure with an elaborate floral headdress in green, black and red. Black and white speckled bottom.
