Commentary
Kintoki and the spider woman, from "Yoshitoshi's sketches": The 10th century warrior Sakata Kintoki was tomented by demons of a woman who spun webs to ensnare him. The story later became the basis of the Noh play "Tsuchigumo", the "Monter Spider."
