Commentary
The Tokyo Tower opened in 1958. It was a symbol of Japan's economic resurgence after World War II. The steel tower was designed after that of the Eifel Tower.

The artist's signature, "Shiro," appears on the plate and "Shiro Kasamatsu" is printed on the lower margin. The artist's seal appears on the print as well.
