Commentary
From the series, "Ukiyo-e no Kao" ("The Face of Ukiyo-e"). Tsunetomi's rendition of a Kabuki hero by Utagawa Toyokuni I. Tsunetomi had a unique, elegant, and subtle style. He did not produce many works and his prints are rare.
