Commentary
Princess Wakana was the daughter of Otomo Sorin. She wanted to revenge her father's death and acquired the magic of Spider.

Object Description
Princess Wakana stands in the center, foreground, facing the viewer. She is dressed in black. Behind her, stretching from left to right and to the top of the work, hangs a white spider web over the black background. To the right of the princess, in the center of the web, an enormous black and gray spider is perched.
