Commentary
"Meisho Edo Hyakkei" (One Hundred Famous View of Edo). The sandbar of the Sumida River. This location was used for test firing, thus it was called "Teppozu (cannon sandbar). Tsukiji Honganji Temple and surrounding residential area are seen in the distance. Uoei was the publisher of the original series by Hiroshige in 1857.

Object Description
