Commentary
The panoramic view of the large compounds of Toshogu shrine, Futara shrine and their surroundings in Nikko. Toshogu-shrine was the main shrine for the Tokugawa Shogunate. It enshrined Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the 300-year-long shogunate, and the generations of the Tokugawa shoguns.
