Signature can read either “Feng Hong respectfully sketches” or “Sketched by Feng Hongjing.” Artist not yet identified. It has the cyclical date xinmao, but without a clearer idea of when the artist was active it is hard to pin this down. This is a very fine painting that deserves more study. Very likely early to mid Qing.
