Cast bronze with gilding.
Object Description
Bronze statue of a gilded Buddha or Bodhisattva, holding a patra, and seated on a lotus throne. There is a base underneath the lotus throne with a lattice-like design. The figure has large ears with ornaments, a crown, and hair parted in the back in two plaits. The figure's crown has a Buddha in it's center, and the Buddha has a small indentation on his forehead.
