Coil formed earthenware vase, of a light bodied clay with a slip of the same tan color. Design formed by scraffito (calcado) technique, in red paint. Saggar fired.
Object Description
Round bodied pot with a tan slip. Jagged carving in the clay body serves as a background for a design of animals, birds, and plants painted in red. Fluted neck.
