Hand built bowl in earthenware. Dark brown and brown mottled glaze used on the inside and wax resist design with light brown and sheer green glazes. Outside is a shiny red/brown glaze. Thin clay strips have been applied to both the interior and exterior to make swirling designs and abstract human figures. Formed from scraps of clay placed into a mold with tameku high fire on top and bottom (washed off to create a thin coating).

Object Description
Bowl with mottled brown interior and red/brown exterior. Interior of bowl also has a wax resiste design in tan and sheer green. Thin clay strips have been added to both inside and out for a design of swirls and abstract human figures.
