Object Description
Lidded ceramic vessel with an attached green leg base. Base is a green glazed hollow cylinder, which is crushed beneath a black and unglazed flat form, in which is sandwiched green and dark red rods. The form on top looks like the top of a samurai costume, especially with the lid in place. The top has a floral pattern in slips, and ruffles on the sides in muted red glaze. The lid fits onto the top center to close off the piece.
