Hand-built vessel polished with stone and oiled. Fired in cow dung. Design hand-painted with earth minerals with a hair brush in the Mata Ortiz style. Hatchmarks in the diagonal in gray pigment. Intricate checkerboard pattern in red and black.
Object Description
Vase in the Mata Ortiz style, with a silver colored hatchmark design on the diagonal and an intricate checkerboard pattern in red and black in-between. The pot was made by Olga's husband Humberto, and painted by Olga.
