Hand-built vessel polished with stone and oiled. Fired in cow dung. Design hand-painted with earth minerals with a hair brush in the Mata Ortiz style.
Object Description
Burnished red bodied earthenware pot with thin crossing lines and black squares forming a decoration over the red background. Four corners of the mouth extend and are curved over outward to form a squared appearance to the opening. The pot was made by Humberto Ledezma Jacques and painted and signed by Olga.
