Object Description
Color woodblock print in modern Japanese style, with an image of a mountain, lake and trees (landscape). The gentle slopes of Mt. Fuji are seen beyond the pines that line Lake Kawaguchi. Koitsu started his career as a woodblock carver for other artists and then began to create his own works in the modern style. He was particularly interested in French Impressionism and the subtleties of light and color.
