Object Description
Color woodblock print from the series "Twelve Months of Noh Pictures" (Juni-kagetsu Noh ga Suri). This series is comprised of Sofu's six original designs plus six designs by his son, Hideyo. Shojo, an auspicious orangutan disguised as a man, performs a dance after drinking a great deal of wine.
