Given along with a catalogue entitled "Un'ichi Hiratsuka: A Retrospective Exhibition of Woodblock Prints in Celebration of the Artist's 90th Birthday," October 12-November 24, 1985, Doizaki Gallery, Japanese American Cultural and Community Center, Los Angeles.

Signed in pencil "Un'ichi Hiratsuka" in the lower margin center; dated 1963 in the lower right, and titled (in Japanese) in the lower left. Red rectangular seal stamped in the lower right of the image.
