Label: "51" on the back of the plate.

Medium
Thrown porcelain plate with blue and brown paints sprayed or sponged onto the surface to create a mottled effect. Black paint is also sponged onto the edges of the plate. The design is created in a similar manner with olive green and wine colored paints. The back of the plate is sprayed with a dark green paint on the white porcelain body to create a speckled effect. A clear overglaze coats the top and bottom of the plate.

Round porcelain plate with a blue, black and brown mottled background. The design is of three leaves in the center of the plate in white, olive green, and wine tones.
