Object Description
This footed vase depicts two golden butterfiles about to alight onto white hydrangea blossoms, against a black background. The shading of the enamels in the hydrangeas gives the flowers a life-like quality. The sculpted wires in the foreground foliage create a sense of deep persepctive and a multi-dimensional aesthetic.
