Commentary
Old number: "L1136/152" written in pencil on the backing paper. Listed in the Munthe inventory (p. 152) as "Good Ming landscape in colors, with pines on rocks. Not by Chao Po-kü."

Marks
There is a large red ink seal in the top center of the image (Chien Lung), a faded red ink seal in the extreme lower right corner (illegible), and a signature in black ink in the lower left, along the border in the image.

Medium
Black and colored ink brushed onto silk, with an ivory silk brocade border.

Object Description
Mounted scroll of a landscape, with a large, vertical rocky mountain in the forefront, and trees in blossom below. A small bridge spans the gap between two smaller mountains in the lower left of the image.
