The text on the bag reads: “Yoko Ono drawings from Franklin Summer and Blood Objects from Family Album” and includes details regarding the location of the exhibition, the UBU Gallery, New York. Eileen Boxer, owner of UBU Gallery, designed the invitation for the 1995 exhibition.
This was one of the earliest invitations sent out by UBU (Edition six).
29 UBU invitations have been produced and sent out (last hard copy sent out in 2011).
The invitations are sent to clients, perceptive clients, and good friends of gallery (curators/directors).
A limited edition box set of UBU invitations may possibly by produced in the future.
