There is a genji seal (with loose text within it) and an oval with text in the upper left. Two oval seals, two red text banners, and one leaf-shaped stamp are in the lower left. There is text printed on the backing paper.
Colored ink woodblock print on off-white paper. Oban tate-e.
Edo period color woodblock print depicting Prince Genji leaving Kashiwagi's house, while her pet cat on a lead delivers a poem in its mouth.
