There is a genji seal (with loose text within it) and an oval with text in the upper left. Two oval seals, two red text banners, and one leaf-shaped stamp are in the lower left. There is text printed on the backing paper.

Edo period color woodblock print depicting a young man examining a sword in front of his father's altar, beside him his mother is in mourning, holding prayer beads.
