Hand-formed terracotta beads strung on cotton string. They are off-white and black from reduction in the fire.

Object Description
A necklace of pre-Columbian era clay beads strung on a cotton string; of Mayan/Mesoamerican origin. The beads are all different shapes (round, oval, natural forms, and oblong). They are cream and black from reduction. There are 54 beads.
