Earthenware bowl with red slip or red through oxidized in the fire.

Object Description
A small earthenware bowl that curves in at the lip. There is a flat bottom and no design. On the interior and the exterior there is a big "X" in the center. The bowl is red through the application of a slip or through oxidation in the fire.

Provenance
No identifying information, but thought to be a gift of Edward Nagel.
