This piece is tagged as from the "3rd-4th Century". The old number was H2191.
Marks
The piece has "OM2125" written in pen and a sticker that reads "H2125" on the bottom.
Medium
Hand formed of terracotta with thick olive and orange glaze or paint.
Object Description
A plumbate rooster pot with a rattle in its head. The pot has an elliptical body and a cylindrical neck. The tail is missing. Designs are made by incision and there are two feet. It is olive and orange in color with a thick glaze. It was probably used for food storage, or was placed in a tomb.
