Cast or hand-built terracotta figure with an orange-yellow slip and red and black paint.

Object Description
Flattened standing female gingerbread figure with a thong or skirt. The figure wears a headdress and a necklace. The arms are foreshortened with incising at the ends for fingers. There is a large, pointed nose and broad shoulders. The figure has an orange-yellow slip and is painted with red and black paints. There is a pattern of chevrons on the legs and some paint on the back. These were placed in tombs for ancestors or used to ask for favors from them.
