Heavy coil-built and burnished bowl, probably of earthenware. There is red paint on the interior and a black and beige design on a red background on the exterior.
Object Description
Late formative period effigy bowl on a tripod. The three legs are pointed with slits in them, but they do not rattle. The body is painted red on the inside and outside, with a black and beige checkerboard and diamond design on the exterior upper edge. There are protrusions of clay on the exterior upper edge that resemble facial features.
