Commentary
Fired in the firebox of the Belvedere anagama kiln.

Marks
Signature "VOULKOS 90" inscribed in the clay on the bottom, around the outer edge. A triangle is inscribed in the center.

Medium
Thrown and altered woodfired stoneware.

Object Description
Roundish brown and rust toned plate with edge torn and bent in two areas, incising in clay, and rough surface with rectangular appliques of clay under glaze.
