"Voulkos 57" signed on the bottom in iron oxide. Accession number (L78.1.229) painted on the bottom in white. Green dot label on the bottom.

Stoneware with a low-fire black glaze. The jar is wheel thrown and the top is hand formed.
Object Description
Bell-shaped jar with a rounded top and a twisted piece of clay attached to the top center of the lid, where the knob would be, in the form of a bird. Glazed in a thick white glaze with drips in dark and light brown.
