Multicolored enamels on a bronze base, with a wooden base. The bronze is accented with crenellated ribbing that has been applied to the surface after enamelling and grinding down of the piece has been completed.

Object Description
Chinese rectangular-shaped "tsun" vase with cloisonné forming characteristic Ming decoration of lotus and scrolls with palmette bands. The colors are classic Ming turquoise, off-white, yellow, cobalt blue, green, and iron-red, on a bright turquoise background. The vase is formed of three sections joined together from seperately made units. The object is accompanied by a fitted wooden stand.
