Object Description
Chinese cloisonné vase with multicolored enamels on a blue field. The decoration consists of a floral pattern and twin dragons. The vase has a long neck and a globular-shaped body, and has the inscription "Ching T'ai Nien Chih" on the foot which would date the object between 1450-1456, but this dating is considered doubtful by appraiser Tomoo Ogita of Asia Art Associates. It is considered to be a late Ming or early Ch'ing piece.
